According to Vanity Fair’s list of Hollywood’s 40 Top earners (both male and female), young actresses like Emma Watson and Kristen Stewart are the ones who ruled the roost leaving behind a seasoned actress like Nicole Kidman. However, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston still feature on the list.
Here’s the list of top in-demand actresses who pocket the staggering amounts.
1 Kristen Stewart
Ranked 37. The Twilight saga is paying the leading girl Kristen Stewart well. Her estimated 2009 earning was $16 million. She fetched $7.5 million for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and $5 million for the Twilight Saga: New Moon.
2 Sandra Bullock
Ranked 34. Sandra Bullock”s estimated 2009 earning was $20 million. She got $15 million for the movie The Blind Side.
3 Jennifer Aniston
Ranked 33. Brad Pitt”s former wife Jennifer Aniston”s estimated 2009 earnings was $20 million. She did the movie Bounty Hunter for $8 million and has signed the The Baster for also $8 million
4 Angelina Jolie
Ranked 32. Angelina Jolie”s last year”s earning was $21 million. She netted $20 million for “Salt” and $1 million as royalties from older films.
5 Reese Witherspoon
Ranked 31. Reese Witherspoon”s estimated 2009 earnings was $21 million. She signed an untitled James L. Brooks project for $10 million last year and also got $1 million as the royalties from her old movies.

Ranked 19. Cameron Diaz easily grabbed an estimated $27 million for her voice-over in “Shrek Forever After” and for her roles in the upcoming “Knight and Day” and “The Green Hornet.”

Ranked 14. Potter girl Emma Watson who is just 19, made about $30 million. She had $15 million for signing both parts 1 and 2 of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
